I purchased a bunch of these Matchbox Nissan NV vans for their wheels and figured I’d try making a few in various base colors. Next I wanted to make a blacked out version but with chrome wheels for some style.
The back is similar to the other colors aside from the top left corner and the difference in the barcode, the last number is 2.
The black is a nice lacquer color and is really easy to work with. Some chrome details and headlight decals make this look great!
The wheels have been replaced with smaller utility wheels and then filled in with more chrome paint (Molotow).
The chassis and bumpers are painted black, and the whole look comes together nicely.
