Kit: Monogram 1969 Dodge Charger 1/24 Scale
The last scenes of “Mystery Men” had two old Dodge Chargers made up like police cars. That inspired me to make something in that vein as well. I’ve got no shortage of Dodge Charger kits and police car bits so I figured why not?
This was just a whole lot of fun to make. It didn’t have to be exactly like anything in particular for once.
I was lucky to have an extra set of American Racing Vectors from a General Lee kit. They always look great!
Pretty nice clean job of the chassis here. The Monogram kit has a lot better detail than the ERTL kit.
The standard Monogram kit has a good array of engine detail. Maybe someday I will make one and fully detail the engine wires and such.
